GOLEM GUARD
A downloadable game for Windows
Created for Brackey's 2024.2 Game Jam!
Summary:
The local population of Murabito cannot defend themselves from the harsh storms at this lake. As a peaceful golem, construct marble fortifications to protect the Murabito! And during the rain, fight off Amebito from tearing apart your constructs! Murabito will help you by occasionally searching for parts to build with. See how many Murabito you can get!
Instructions:
*WASD to move & look up/down!
*Space to jump!
*Mouse wheel to scroll through your inventory!
*Right mouse to build!
*Left mouse to break!
Building Rules:
*Builds cannot be placed overlapping your player.
*Builds must be placed adjacent to terrain or another build.

*Download the attached .zip file
*Extract the .zip
*Run the application (Some devices may trigger a virus warning. The game is just a GameMaker Studio 2 export I promise.)
*Make sure to fullscreen. A bug has caused the cursor to not track correctly, and fullscreen hides this.

Love the concepts behind it, especially the piano feel with the rain, gives the game great atmosphere. Wish there could be more but what I got was amazing.
